Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement Azure cloud solutions focused on automation, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps principles.
- Lead cloud platform projects including architecture, proofs of concept, production deployments, and migration of on-premise workloads to Azure.
- Build and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with YAML, automated testing, and quality checks.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and Git-based workflows.
- Create PowerShell and AZ CLI scripts to improve automation, repeatability, and operational efficiency.
- Support cloud governance covering networking, identity, security, tagging, resource organization, and operational processes.
- Ensure Azure environments meet monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, reliability, performance, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, security, product management, and infrastructure teams on cloud designs and delivery strategies.
- Resolve cloud-related issues and improve DevOps maturity, engineering tooling, automation, governance, and cloud operating models.
- Coach and mentor less experienced developers and support capability development across teams.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services in a DevOps environment.
- Advanced experience building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including YAML-based pipelines.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell and AZ CLI.
- Understanding of cloud governance, security, networking, identity, RBAC, and resource organization.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles including automation, observability, GitOps, and continuous delivery.
- Experience supporting cloud migrations from on-premise environments.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and product stakeholders and mentor less experienced developers.
