Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop software for next-generation 5G Core Network mobile telecommunications processing solutions.
- Develop 3GPP network functions, network interfaces, service-based interfaces, and telecommunications protocols.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems and control-plane signaling paths and develop 5G Core Network control-plane probes.
- Collaborate with technical leaders on product visions and roadmaps and develop innovative software solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to elicit requirements and CONOPS.
- Perform technical research and create technical documentation and presentations.
- Lead concept demonstrations and support customer meetings, system deployments, and demonstrations with up to 15% travel.
Requirements
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- An aggregate of 5 years of software development experience in 3GPP network functions, network interfaces, service-based interfaces, telecommunications protocols, protocol reverse engineering, distributed systems, 5G probes, or related areas.
- Expertise developing Linux-based software systems using modern C++, Python, or equivalent environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph after starting.
- U.S. citizenship, because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- An active and existing TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph after day one is required.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of AMF, SMF, UPF, UDM, PCF, AUSF, and NRF behavior and call flows.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, KVM, VMware, OpenStack, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Go, or Rust.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with 4G EPC functions including MME, SGW, PGW, and HSS.
