Responsibilities
- Conduct customer needs assessments and document requirements for new or upgraded applications.
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into functional and nonfunctional specifications, use cases, traceability documentation, and process flows.
- Guide application modernization, migration, architecture, design, implementation, and deployment initiatives.
- Evaluate and help customers select, customize, and implement packaged and custom application solutions.
- Collaborate with application architects, development staff, vendors, and cross-functional teams while managing time, cost, and quality targets.
- Advise customers on hardware, operating systems, compatibility, data conversion, training, and application integration considerations.
- Assist stakeholders with risk quantification and the development of mitigation and remediation strategies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in application development and deployment.
- At least 5 years of experience in application migration and modernization.
- At least 5 years of experience in application architecture, middleware, and data.
- Knowledge of business intelligence, database principles, programming fundamentals, SQL, hardware and software, operating systems, and networking.
- Strong technical acumen and working knowledge of Agile methods, service architecture, and enterprise cloud integration.
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: SaaS application implementation experience with platforms such as Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, or Lawson.
- Preferred: Experience with application modernization tools such as CAST.
- Preferred: Experience using and implementing DevSecOps processes.
- Preferred: Experience helping stakeholders quantify risks and develop mitigation and remediation strategies.
