Base Salary
$180k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy distributed services and workflows for AI-powered insights.
- Contribute across the stack to support product-facing experiences.
- Develop and maintain scalable pipelines for data processing and AI inference.
- Participate in system design and planning discussions to balance speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to shape requirements.
- Promote best practices around performance and maintainability while mentoring the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining scalable backend systems.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, with experience in Node.js, Temporal, AWS, or PostgreSQL preferred.
- A product-oriented mindset focused on enabling high-quality customer experiences.
- Hands-on experience integrating third-party inference services into product workflows.
- Expertise in designing event-driven, data-intensive architectures.
- Familiarity with prompt construction and context management is a plus.
- A pragmatic execution style that balances technical depth with speed.
