Base Salary
$147k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable REST APIs for real-time vehicle data ingestion.
- Create and maintain Java/SpringBoot cloud-native microservices.
- Define data models and integrate SQL and NoSQL data stores.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for deploying services to the cloud.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with product owners and frontend teams to refine requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the offered job or a related occupation.
- Five years of experience using REST APIs and interactive debuggers such as VSCode or IntelliJ.
- Three years of experience using Java, .NET, Python, or Kotlin for scalable stateful web services and client-side business logic.
- Three years of experience translating design requirements into specifications with tools such as Jira and creating documentation and diagrams with tools such as Miro.
- Three years of experience designing distributed systems in cloud environments, including Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, and Docker containerization.
- Two years of experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- One year of experience using CI/CD pipelines.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
