Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Translate user and business requirements into technical specifications, detailed designs, and software solutions.
- Analyze, develop, test, implement, document, maintain, and troubleshoot software throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and integrate SharePoint and SPFx solutions within Microsoft 365 and enterprise technology environments.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production issues, incidents, system faults, and service application problems.
- Ensure code and configurations meet security, logging, error-handling, performance, architecture, and other non-functional requirements.
- Evaluate technologies, recommend technical approaches, automate processes, and improve operational efficiency and system integration.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support quality assurance, testing, release management, version control, documentation, and deployment practices.
- Manage project deliverables and support the successful completion of small projects.
- Drive process improvements aligned with ITIL guidelines and BMO’s risk management framework.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of relevant experience.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Deep technical knowledge of programming, SharePoint development, SPFx, application integration, software development lifecycle practices, troubleshooting, and system integration.
- Proficiency in quality assurance and testing, cloud computing, microservices, technology requirements analysis, and test-driven development.
- Experience translating requirements into designs and code and independently performing solution design, coding, testing, documentation, and implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage non-routine situations, support production issues, and operate within established risk and technology standards.
