Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot secure software components for enterprise Payments Technology products.
- Write high-quality code using at least one programming language and address upstream and downstream technical implications.
- Apply technical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve software problems.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, refactoring, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
- Apply SDLC processes, methodologies, security practices, and operational stability principles.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience for the specified regions.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Preferred: full-stack Java enterprise application development experience and at least two years of Java 17+ experience.
- Preferred: experience with microservices, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service, AWS Elastic Container Service, EC2, Terraform, and AWS production deployments.
- Preferred: experience with a relational database management system, preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL.
