Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy reliable, scalable, and secure Data Exploration Platform solutions.
- Manage platform upgrades, patches, configuration changes, system resources, and utilization.
- Optimize platform performance and troubleshoot data processing and query performance issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements and industry best practices.
- Implement and enforce data access controls, authentication, authorization, security, and compliance measures.
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to stakeholders using the platform.
- Identify technology and system pitfalls and improve platform resiliency, stability, security, and performance.
Requirements
- Background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and tools, including Python, R, or SQL.
- Understanding of data modelling, data architecture, and data quality principles.
- Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Competence in Scala, Python, and Java programming.
- Competence using DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred experience with data warehousing, ETL, data governance, and data visualization.
- Preferred experience with cluster management, Ansible, Kubernetes, distributed systems, and cloud-based analytics platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Preferred experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Tableau Server.
