Base Salary
$144k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain developer tools for application observability and improve overall system reliability.
- Engineer resilient and observable multi-region networking infrastructure for diverse workloads.
- Collaborate across departments on production operations and autonomous deployments.
- Support deployment, configuration, routing, monitoring, and scalability across the technology stack.
- Use automation and software engineering practices to solve scaling, workflow, and resilience challenges.
- Mentor teammates and participate in an on-call schedule.
Requirements
- Experience building business-critical software in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience solving complex technical challenges and designing custom solutions for high-traffic systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and serverless compute platforms.
- Experience with continuous integration, delivery, testing, and code deployment.
- Experience using observability tools to improve performance and forecast growth.
- Experience improving system architecture, diagnosing shortcomings, and implementing evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong software engineering craftsmanship, product judgment, and reliable-infrastructure practices.
