Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and JavaScript.
- Build and optimize MongoDB data models, indexing strategies, queries, and data governance practices.
- Contribute to AWS cloud architecture, deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.
- Design and integrate system interfaces across multiple business platforms with stable and extensible data flows.
- Contribute to large-scale data architectures involving caching, asynchronous processing, messaging, and observability.
- Participate in technical documentation, code reviews, testing practices, architecture evolution, and engineering standards.
- Analyze and resolve complex production issues while collaborating across global technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of backend software development experience building and maintaining medium-to-large-scale services.
- Strong proficiency with Node.js and JavaScript, including service design, development, optimization, and refactoring.
- Solid experience with MongoDB data modeling, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience designing high-availability, high-concurrency, and distributed systems.
- Strong API design and system integration experience.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English for communication with North American engineering teams.
- Experience with online ordering, retail, restaurant, ERP, CRM, or other transaction-intensive systems is a bonus.
- Experience with large-scale data-intensive architectures, distributed applications, messaging platforms, caching technologies, task scheduling frameworks, event-driven architectures, and observability solutions is a bonus.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated deployment processes is a bonus.
