Responsibilities
- Build developer tools and workflows for AI workflow development, optimization, and deployment.
- Design and implement CLIs, SDKs, APIs, and VS Code integrations.
- Improve performance, compatibility, and developer experience across the AI software stack.
- Collaborate with Windows, AI/ML, hardware, and open-source teams to bring AI workloads to Windows and Edge devices.
- Drive projects end-to-end from design through implementation and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Solid software engineering experience with C++ or Python.
- Hands-on experience with AI frameworks or inference runtimes.
- Experience with GPU programming or acceleration, including CUDA.
- Solid debugging, performance analysis, and system design skills.
- Experience building and shipping production-quality software.
- Experience with compilers or compiler technologies.
- Solid experience with PyTorch and its ecosystem.
- Experience with Triton, SGLang, or similar infrastructure.
- Experience with AI on Edge or on-device AI.
- Experience with model conversion, quantization, graph optimization, or inference optimization.
- Experience with GPUs, NPUs, or heterogeneous computing.
- Experience with DirectX technologies such as Direct3D, HLSL, and compute shaders.
