Responsibilities

  • Deploy SaaS applications using automation and orchestration platforms.
  • Implement CI/CD infrastructure and pipelines and advise customers on CI/CD best practices.
  • Implement monitoring across the cloud-based platform.
  • Create, version, and test Bash and PowerShell scripts.
  • Automate installation, configuration, and management of multi-tier web applications in secure environments.
  • Maintain test, staging, and production environments in collaboration with software development.
  • Support uptime, performance, cost, security, validation, and SLA objectives for internal and external customers.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and application operations across IaaS and PaaS environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience with at least 3 years working on a 24x7 cloud or SaaS production operations team.
  • Experience deploying applications in a production public cloud environment, preferably AWS or similar.
  • Expertise with CI/CD technologies and familiarity with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby, Bash, or Python, plus automation using tools such as Chef, Salt, Ansible, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases, RESTful web services, YAML, XML, JSON, Docker, and Cloud Foundry.
  • Understanding of elasticity, scalability, networking, DNS, VPNs, proxies, and Linux administration.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and application monitoring tools and orchestration or provisioning solutions such as Chef, Salt, or Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS compute, network, storage, database, SDK, API, CLI, CloudFormation, SNS, SQS, SWF, DynamoDB, and S3 services.
  • Exposure to information and application security, public key encryption, SSH, access credentials, and X.509 certificates.
  • Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work autonomously with diverse stakeholders in collaborative, customer-focused environments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare and regulated environments.
