Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and evolve UI components and primitives for Dropbox’s design system.
- Design and build AI-powered tooling and workflows to enhance design-to-code processes.
- Collaborate with designers to translate design intent into high-quality, reusable code.
- Contribute to the architecture and strategy of AI-native UX development.
- Prototype and productionize new concepts for future design systems.
- Ensure accessibility by embedding WCAG standards into components and workflows.
- Write clear documentation for both human and AI consumers.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to improve quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to enhance system reliability.
- Drive experimentation with emerging AI technologies to improve workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development, including design systems.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in modern frameworks.
- Experience building scalable, maintainable front-end architecture for complex applications.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML-powered tools in development workflows.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards and their implementation.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
