Responsibilities
- Own platform features from discovery and specification through design, implementation, rollout, and production operation.
- Translate infrastructure provisioning, reliability, scalability, observability, deployment, and operational needs into platform improvements.
- Use AI-assisted development practices across research, implementation, testing, documentation, and operational analysis while maintaining high standards for correctness.
- Define and improve metrics covering provisioning time, deployment success, reliability, incidents, utilization, cost, and customer impact.
- Collaborate with platform, DevOps, product, support, and customer-facing teams to prioritize investments and deliver scalable solutions.
- Identify reliability risks, operational bottlenecks, and scaling challenges and drive long-term production solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in backend, platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or distributed systems roles.
- Strong production experience with Go or comparable backend systems languages.
- Experience owning engineering projects end to end, including requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and iteration.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous communication, event-driven architectures, reliability engineering, and operational trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience with message brokers or event-streaming technologies such as NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating services in Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, or Helm.
- Experience with CI/CD systems and developer productivity tooling.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, observability, alerting, incident management, and production operations.
- Practical experience with AI-native engineering workflows, including coding agents, research agents, debugging assistants, and automation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Experience integrating with blockchain networks through RPC APIs or operating blockchain client nodes is preferred.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, platform engineering, Web3 infrastructure, validator operations, indexing systems, node orchestration, or internal tooling is preferred.
- Experience with RFCs, ADRs, specification-driven development, technical proposals, operational runbooks, and engineering updates is preferred.
- Strong product sense and ability to connect platform improvements to customer value and measurable outcomes are preferred.
