AI Engineer – Marketing Intelligence & Automation

- Design, build, evaluate, and maintain AI agents and agentic workflows that retrieve context, recommend actions, and execute approved marketing workflows.
- Build marketing intelligence services and data pipelines that unify marketing, CRM, website, campaign, intent, attribution, and related business data.
- Develop secure API, event-driven, and reusable platform integrations across marketing, data, CMS, CRM, analytics, AI, and workflow systems.
- Create RAG and enterprise knowledge-retrieval systems using governed content, embeddings, vector search, metadata, permissions, chunking, and source grounding.
- Develop predictive intent, next-best-action, personalization, journey orchestration, conversational AI, attribution, forecasting, and digital experience capabilities.
- Build content publishing, SEO/AEO/GEO, structured-data, localization, and distribution automation with appropriate human review.
- Create testing, observability, quality-control, and evaluation frameworks for prompts, agents, models, workflows, and digital experiences.
- Codify reusable engineering patterns into components, templates, documentation, and playbooks for safe and consistent marketing AI adoption.
- Partner with Digital Marketing, Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Content/Creative, Analytics, IT, Data, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in AI engineering, software engineering, data engineering, ML engineering, marketing engineering, or a similar production-systems role.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or another modern application language.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, tool or function calling, structured outputs, prompt design, agent frameworks, and production evaluation.
- Experience designing RAG or enterprise knowledge-retrieval systems, including embeddings, vector search, metadata, chunking, permissions, and source grounding.
- Experience building data pipelines, APIs, event-driven integrations, and workflow automations across SaaS and enterprise platforms.
- Working knowledge of cloud architecture and data platforms, particularly AWS and Amazon Redshift.
- Understanding of data modeling, identity resolution, data quality, observability, security, access controls, and governance.
- Marketing technology, CRM, CMS, analytics, digital experience, or marketing automation experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Git-based development, logging, secrets management, role-based access, and production monitoring.
- Experience in B2B, enterprise software, financial technology, or regulated environments is a plus.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical designs, prototypes, production systems, and measurable outcomes.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain architecture, tradeoffs, risk, and business impact to technical and non-technical partners.
- Comfort testing emerging AI capabilities while applying controls for accuracy, privacy, security, and brand risk.
