Base Salary

$140k - $170k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for secondary ECU software and full-vehicle software releases.
  • Automate multi-ECU build, integration, validation, packaging, dependency management, versioning, and release traceability workflows.
  • Develop orchestration frameworks for incremental builds, artifact generation, vehicle manifests, custom ECU configurations, and multi-ECU vehicle software bundles.
  • Optimize pipeline execution time, scalability, and reliability while enabling reproducible commit-to-vehicle builds.
  • Automate package signing, dependency validation, binary compatibility checks, OTA release bundle creation, and production release gating.
  • Coordinate software releases across body, gateway, infotainment, ADAS/autonomy, and connectivity ECUs.
  • Integrate unit, integration, SIL/HIL, regression, flash validation, and vehicle bring-up checks into CI pipelines.
  • Automate containerized build environments, cross-compilation toolchains, ECU flashing tools, and vehicle simulation frameworks.
  • Manage release branching, tagging, artifact repositories, metadata tracking, and secure artifact distribution to integration, vehicle builds, OTA systems, and manufacturing pipelines.
  • Align ECU releases with vehicle-level integration milestones and support on-demand builds for specific test or vehicle configurations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in embedded systems, DevOps automation, release engineering, or automotive software integration.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture, ECU software stacks, automotive communication protocols, UDS diagnostics, and diagnostic communication tools.
  • Expertise with Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Proficiency with ALM/PLM tools such as Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill.
  • Experience developing and verifying plant and control models in MATLAB/Simulink for hardware-in-the-loop testing.
  • Experience with dSpace ControlDesk and AutomationDesk.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems software, electrical/electronic systems, and vehicle architecture.
  • Familiarity with A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, LVDS, CANalyzer, CANoe, and vehicle network tools.
  • Ability to perform complex problem solving and data analysis and drive results with extended teams.
  • Knowledge of automotive design and development processes, system requirements, and engineering best practices.
