Responsibilities
- Design, architect, develop, operate, and maintain scalable Cloud Agent systems used by millions of customers and endpoints.
- Independently design moderate to complex modules with strong code quality.
- Develop high-performance C/C++ software on Linux/Unix platforms.
- Debug and troubleshoot software using GDB.
- Implement multithreading, thread synchronization, parallel processing, and IPC mechanisms.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, system design, coding standards, code reviews, source control, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and unit testing.
- Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to clarify technical requirements and build consensus.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on C/C++ development experience on enterprise or consumer product lines running on Linux/Unix platforms.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related qualification such as M.E./M.Tech, B.E./B.Tech, or MCA.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, memory management, multithreading, thread synchronization, parallel processing, IPC, and system design.
- Expertise in debugging with GDB and solving complex technical problems.
- Ability to independently design moderately complex to complex modules and build scalable, high-performance applications.
- Knowledge of C/C++ coding standards and unit testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, CI/CD pipelines, and testing.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
- Exposure to cybersecurity or security technologies, networking technologies, SSL/TLS, and cryptography is desirable.
