Base Salary
$120k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own testing efforts for new features from requirements through production release.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end automated test scenarios.
- Develop and maintain scalable Playwright automation and perform REST API testing for backend integrations.
- Build and maintain automated tests in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Review requirements for missing acceptance criteria, edge cases, and risks.
- Perform root cause analysis for production issues, partner with developers on defect resolution, and write clear bug reports.
- Improve automation coverage, test reliability, QA processes, and reusable test architecture.
- Use AI to generate and improve test cases, identify edge cases, accelerate automation development, analyze defects and regression impact, and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA team members.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote scalable QA practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Software QA or SDET roles.
- Expert-level Playwright experience and strong manual and exploratory testing skills.
- Strong programming experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience testing REST APIs and validating backend integrations.
- Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, scalable automation frameworks, and test architecture.
- Experience working with enterprise business applications.
- Understanding of Agile and CI/CD practices, debugging, analytical investigation, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Preferred experience testing financial or accounting systems.
- Preferred experience using AI to improve test coverage, productivity, and software quality.
- Preferred experience in regulated or audit-driven, multi-module enterprise software environments.

- US base salary range of $120,000-$150,000 with an opportunity for a discretionary annual bonus.
