Base Salary
$74k - $104k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Android mobile and web applications.
- Develop and execute API test automation using Postman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar tools.
- Implement unit-testing strategies using JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, Jest, or similar frameworks.
- Perform database and stored procedure testing to validate data integrity and backend functionality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket, or similar tools.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Conduct performance and load testing when necessary.
- Collaborate with software engineers and stay current with automation-testing trends, tools, and practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in test automation for mobile and web applications.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in API automation testing.
- Strong experience with automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of unit-testing frameworks including JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, or Jest.
- Programming proficiency in Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Kotlin.
- Strong database-testing and stored-procedure experience.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs for cloud-based mobile testing.
- Hands-on experience with Git and version-control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred experience with JMeter, Gatling, Docker, Kubernetes, TDD frameworks and approaches, and security-testing principles.
