Responsibilities
- Own backend services end to end for prediction markets.
- Design low-latency, high-throughput systems for real-time financial products.
- Drive reliability and performance, owning SLOs and incident response.
- Set technical standards through code and design reviews.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
- Deep proficiency in backend languages such as Go, Ruby, Python, or Java.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and high-availability systems.
- Track record of delivering projects end-to-end in regulated environments.
- Proven ability to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
- High attention to detail and strong product taste.
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly to improve workflow efficiency.
