Responsibilities
- Design and develop global client connectivity platforms and best-in-class connectivity solutions.
- Build low-latency Java solutions using high-frequency trading frameworks.
- Deliver prioritized connectivity workstreams end to end, from requirements through implementation and ongoing support.
- Apply coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Collaborate with business, development, QA, infrastructure, production support, and external teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across technical and business users while delivering enhancements and additional phases.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant low-latency Java experience.
- Experience building ultra-low-latency platforms and client connectivity applications.
- Understanding of electronic trading, financial markets, and trading environments.
- Experience with FIX and binary protocols.
- Core Java and Unix/Linux skills.
- Microservices architecture experience is preferred.
- Open HFT and Chronicle experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and BitBucket.
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
