Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to the control law development team and ensure systems and software certification objectives are met at technical gates.
- Develop and communicate customer and engine-team requirements with Controls System and Software teams.
- Lead project problem-solving and risk-assessment activities while promoting technical quality and teamwork.
- Represent the Control Law team with customers regarding requirements, deliverables, and integration activities.
- Support planning and progress tracking for Earned Value Management with the Integrated Product Team Lead.
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture across a diverse, cross-functional team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of product development engineering experience, or a master’s or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with requirements management and embedded safety-critical software engineering.
- Experience with model-based software design and simulation using Simulink or similar tools.
- Control systems experience, including development of verification and testing frameworks.
- Experience with control law design and development for embedded systems.
- Understanding of DO-178C, DO-331, DO-333, and ARP-4754 objectives for safety-critical systems.
- Experience with model-based design and verification across multiple platforms, including model integration, emulator testing, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Experience working in agile software development teams and across cross-functional teams.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle from design through release.
- Ability to present technical data to senior engineers and management.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
