Base Salary
$195k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify, scope, and lead large technical projects that enable core products to scale into performant, reliable, and customizable systems.
- Own customer-facing product experiences from understanding user problems and shaping solutions through implementation, launch, measurement, and iteration.
- Build reliable and secure systems connecting and interpreting data across people, agents, assets, controls, vendors, and related business context.
- Partner with product, design, domain experts, and engineers to bring AI-powered workflows from exploration to production.
- Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers and set direction for critical technical surface areas.
- Contribute to Vanta’s engineering culture and use AI thoughtfully throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of full-stack experience with an emphasis on backend skills.
- Technical leadership experience for teams or complex projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience building user-facing SaaS products, ideally for both startup and enterprise users.
- Startup experience or experience in an environment prioritizing a bias for action.
- Experience building 0-to-1 products and solving large-scale problems.
- Interest in or prior experience with security, risk, privacy, or AI governance.
- Experience with TypeScript and Go, AI-powered product experiences, AI quality evaluation, or modern AI development tools is valuable but not required.
