Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure connectivity between on-premise infrastructure and GCP.
- Provision and manage infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and integrate on-premise identity providers with GCP IAM and Zero Trust principles.
- Orchestrate cloud-to-on-premise workload transitions, provide hybrid-stack visibility, and optimize egress cost and latency.
- Design and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for embedded and cross-compiled builds.
- Automate build, test and deployment workflows across GCP and on-premise edge devices using DevSecOps and EdgeOps practices.
- Manage Docker and other OCI containers and artifacts for multi-architecture builds.
- Develop build and deployment scripts and build Linux-derived operating systems and dependencies for ARM64 targets.
- Collaborate with firmware and electronics teams to integrate and test microcontrollers, sensor boards and autopilot hardware.
- Support driver compilation and communication bridges between Linux and MCU-level systems using UART, CAN, SPI and I²C.
- Manage automated builds for AMD64 and ARM64 targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics or Embedded Systems.
- 2–5 years of DevOps or EdgeOps experience.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and respectfully.
- Solution-oriented, team-first approach focused on platform stability and team health.
