Responsibilities
- Build and evolve a high-performance, responsive, offline-capable Progressive Web App.
- Implement offline-first capabilities, real-time updates, scalable front-end architecture, and cross-device experiences.
- Own features from ideation and design review through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design durable abstractions and improve large, evolving, and legacy codebases while balancing performance, maintainability, and developer experience.
- Mentor engineers, lead by example, and promote clean code, strong testing, and disciplined engineering practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to increase productivity and focus on higher-impact engineering work.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building scalable, user-facing software.
- 4+ years of deep experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React.
- Strong architectural thinking, problem-solving ability, and comfort working in large, evolving codebases.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSX, modern HTML/CSS, and automated testing using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and end-to-end testing.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, domain modeling, and design patterns.
- Clear, professional written communication and comfort working in an async-first environment.
- A mentorship mindset and ability to elevate other engineers.
