Responsibilities
- Develop integrations between Dotmatics and Siemens' ecosystem.
- Scale and improve the shared services platform using GraphQL and modern back-end technologies.
- Enhance front-ends of various scientific software brands using a multi-brand design system.
- Propose and own technical architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to execute the product vision.
- Design and develop GraphQL and REST APIs alongside responsive front-ends.
- Build reusable, well-tested components and maintain high code quality standards.
- Write thorough end-to-end and unit tests.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building responsive web applications and back-end services.
- Advanced proficiency in Node.js and front-end build tools.
- Experience architecting and developing REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience building reusable React components, with familiarity in frameworks like Next.js.
- Deep understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of modern deployment practices including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid testing skills across unit and end-to-end coverage.
- Security-oriented mindset with awareness of application security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
