Responsibilities
- Design and deliver foundational architecture and software solutions for global Fulfillment by Amazon systems.
- Produce detailed technical work and high-level architectural designs as a hands-on Principal Engineer.
- Build and optimize systems supporting seller registration, shipment creation, transportation, inventory inbounding, and time-to-prime optimization.
- Partner with product and program management teams to translate business needs into workable technology solutions.
- Manage multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software experience.
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment.
- Preferred: experience designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic applications.
- Preferred: knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
