Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end delivery of Loan Origination solutions, including compliance screening, credit assessment, workflow orchestration, and document management.
Provide hands-on technical leadership using Java and API-driven architectures within a regional squad of 12 engineers.
Drive automation, testing, CI/CD, secure deployments, and integrated testing and security checks.
Ensure system reliability through observability and monitoring tools such as Kibana.
Manage data integrity through SQL development and database validation.
Leverage AI technologies to improve development efficiency, automation, and intelligent lending capabilities.
Collaborate with business, operations, credit risk, compliance, and regulatory stakeholders while maintaining documentation and audit traceability.

5-8 years of software engineering experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
Proven experience delivering Loan Origination Systems or digital lending platforms.
Strong expertise in Java development and solid knowledge of loan origination and lending domains.
Proven team leadership experience with end-to-end delivery ownership.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent platforms.
Familiarity with MAS TRM guidelines and regulated engineering environments.
Experience integrating with core banking systems, credit bureaus, and KYC/AML platforms.
Good knowledge of data governance, risk controls, regulatory compliance, credit workflows, and lending processes.
Preferred experience with Playwright, Selenium, ACCELQ, AI technologies including MCP, and observability or monitoring platforms.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, ownership, accountability, and governance skills.
