Base Salary
$45k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy documentation and design cloud migration solutions.
- Translate business requirements into high-level and low-level designs and implement them with Spring Cloud and PCF.
- Recommend modernization strategies and service improvements for legacy systems.
- Build and deploy microservices using Netflix OSS, Cloud Foundry, MongoDB, and Java.
- Automate code reviews and establish CI/CD pipelines.
- Use JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Confluence to support application modernization.
- Participate in architecture forums and technical decision-making.
- Coordinate technical discussions and ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide weekly status updates and post-implementation support.
- Bridge communication between customers and offshore teams and escalate issues as needed.
- Manage Java projects end-to-end while coordinating internal teams and external vendors.
- Define project scope and objectives and ensure stakeholder alignment and technical feasibility.
- Develop detailed project plans and manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk changes.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements
- Strong command of Core Java.
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Solid knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Redis.
- Proficiency with Gradle build automation.
- Exposure to RabbitMQ and Kafka messaging systems.
- Practical experience with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Mandatory experience with Fullstack Java Enterprise.
- Three to five years of professional experience.
