Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-quality client-facing web applications with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Design and implement GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, fragments, and federated GraphQL services.
- Contribute to shared frontend component libraries and reusable, accessible UI patterns.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Design, Data, and backend teams on scalable software solutions and GraphQL service contracts.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code emphasizing security, data privacy, accessibility, performance, and operational reliability.
- Contribute to server-side rendering and TypeScript-based backend functions supporting frontend products.
- Improve architecture, testing, observability, and developer experience, and potentially mentor peers and shape technical direction.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or comparable practical industry experience building production-grade software.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern frontend application architecture.
- Experience building production web applications with responsive interfaces, accessibility, performance, authentication, and server-side rendering.
- Understanding of GraphQL, including schemas, queries, mutations, integrations, and federated GraphQL architectures.
- Experience with frontend component libraries and design systems.
- Experience writing automated tests with modern frontend testing tools and maintaining high-quality frontend code.
- Clear, open, and concise communication skills with professional fluency in English.
- Experience with federated GraphQL services, shared component libraries or design systems, TypeScript-based serverless applications, or regulated and high-security environments is a plus.
