Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve the Global AI Platform for scalability, security, and reliability.
- Operate and maintain Azure AI Foundry, Azure API Management, AI gateways such as Portkey, and supporting Azure services.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve operational issues affecting AI service availability and performance.
- Onboard new AI use cases, enable models, configure integrations, and manage access controls.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and maintain multi-environment deployment strategies.
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for platform configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Define platform governance covering model access policies, guardrails, usage controls, and integration standards.
- Enable secure AI service consumption through authentication, authorization, and traffic management.
- Collaborate with solution architects, data scientists, and application teams to support AI use cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles, preferably with AI/ML platform exposure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure API Management, Azure DevOps, core Azure networking, and identity and security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and multi-environment deployment strategies.
- Experience with AI gateways or API gateway technologies such as Portkey for managing and governing AI/LLM access.
- Familiarity with model lifecycle management, LLM access control, and platform guardrails.
