Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of high-quality accounting technology solutions.
- Perform hands-on analysis, design, coding, code reviews, and release activities.
- Champion engineering best practices, quality standards, TDD, BDD, stress testing, and contract testing.
- Mentor developers and guide teams toward high performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, tribe leads, product owners, and lead architects to deliver business outcomes.
- Develop and optimize solutions using Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Cloud.
- Design scalable database schemas and systems using DDD and Clean/Hexagonal Architecture.
- Contribute to SRE, change management, incident management, and production operations.
- Work with APIs and data formats including JSON, XML, YAML, and Parquet.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Cloud.
- Proficiency in complex SQL query development and database performance optimization.
- Experience designing database schemas and scalable systems for large-scale operations.
- Knowledge of SRE, change management, incident management, and production operations.
- Experience designing solutions with DDD and implementing Clean/Hexagonal Architecture.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring developers.
- Experience applying TDD, BDD, stress testing, and contract testing.
- Proficiency working with APIs and data formats such as JSON, XML, YAML, and Parquet.
- Familiarity with Informatica or Java is a plus.
- Prior banking or finance experience, product development experience, and hybrid cloud experience using GCP are advantageous.
- Ability to use AI tools productively while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
