Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to solve customer problems and deliver product functionality and support.
- Participate in all phases of software engineering, including inception, coding, testing, delivery, and operation.
- Develop high-quality code following best practices and clean code principles.
- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
- Design and launch new features across infrastructure layers with other engineers and team members.
- Interact with clients to understand and characterize their needs and advise them when necessary.
Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience with Java.
- Have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform, Spring, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.
- Have experience with automated and automatically scalable tests and deployments.
- Be interested in decomposing large projects into manageable subprojects and microservices.
- Keep security in mind when designing applications and be comfortable solving complex business and technical problems.
- Communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
- Experience with Datadog is a plus.
