Responsibilities
- Manage and evolve AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
- Plan capacity, implement autoscaling, respond to incidents, and conduct post-mortems to maintain cluster reliability.
- Design scalable and reliable infrastructure for AI-driven analytics and data processing.
- Build and maintain Helm charts, Terraform configurations, and multi-environment deployments.
- Own monitoring and alerting using Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Administer and optimize PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis storage systems.
- Support RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, and Temporal message-broker and workflow infrastructure.
- Manage infrastructure security, including secrets, IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, and encryption.
- Design and configure VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Monitor cloud spending, identify waste, right-size resources, and report on cost efficiency.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Hands-on experience with most of the stack, including AWS, Azure, or GCP; Kubernetes; Helm; GitHub CI; Terraform; PostgreSQL; ClickHouse; Redis; RabbitMQ; AWS SQS; Temporal; and monitoring and alerting tools.
- Practical experience using Claude Code or agentic coding, including validating AI-generated code.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and Bash and/or Python scripting skills.
- Golang or Python development experience is a plus.
- Experience with Vault, Packer, ClickHouse administration, or data-intensive pipelines is a plus.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability in high-volume, high-stakes systems.
- Availability aligned with the US Eastern time zone and fluency in English.
