Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end outcome delivery for an Advanced Forward Engineering cell, including scoping, technical direction, tradeoffs, and production readiness.
- Embed with clients to define business problems and translate them into executable technical solutions under regulatory and environmental constraints.
- Act as the primary technical interface and trusted advisor for client stakeholders, managing expectations and communicating technical tradeoffs.
- Design and build critical solution components while working directly with client systems, data, legacy environments, and codebases.
- Deploy, adapt, release, and stabilize solutions in client environments, maintaining runtime accountability for shipped systems.
- Direct the work of the Implementation Engineer and Data Engineer to produce coherent, production-grade outcomes.
- Ensure deployments satisfy safety, integrity, cost, and governance constraints in regulated environments.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience delivering complex enterprise systems.
- Hands-on engineering depth across integration-heavy architectures, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
- Experience with modern AI-enabled application stacks, including agentic systems, orchestration frameworks, or LLM-backed services.
- Experience in forward-deployed, customer-facing, or solutions-architecture roles with end-to-end outcome ownership.
- Ability to lead a small technical team while remaining an individual contributor.
- Strong client presence, stakeholder management, technical judgment, and communication skills.
- Understanding of software delivery lifecycle, quality gates, and enterprise production readiness.
- Preferred: bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience deploying solutions to cloud, on-premises, hybrid, or air-gapped client environments.
- Preferred: experience with AI governance, security, cost controls, or regulated industries such as financial services, tax, healthcare, or risk platforms.
Benefits
- Base salary is listed at $125,500–$230,200 for US geographic locations and $150,700–$261,600 for the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California excluding Sacramento.
