Responsibilities
- Build and improve JavaScript SDKs supporting frontend frameworks, meta-frameworks, server-side frameworks, and edge runtimes.
- Plan, implement, test, document, and ship SDK code with end-to-end ownership.
- Write robust unit and integration tests and create documentation for internal and external users.
- Use AI tools to improve developer productivity and solve complex engineering problems.
- Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with organizations and committees including TC39 and the OpenTelemetry SIG.
- Assist the Customer Operations team with critical bugs and interact with users through GitHub and industry conferences.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, web developer, or in a similar role.
- Deep expertise developing web applications, libraries, or SDKs using TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with at least two modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, NestJS, or Hono.
- Strong understanding of framework rendering models, lifecycles, and runtime environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Based in the Toronto, Canada area or willing to relocate there.
