Responsibilities
- Define and implement QA strategies, standards, best practices, test plans, test cases, and test cycles.
- Lead and oversee functional, regression, integration, performance, manual, automated, and exploratory testing.
- Drive test automation strategy and adoption, and select, implement, and maintain QA tools and frameworks.
- Review test cases, scripts, and results; track defects; validate fixes; and confirm release readiness.
- Act as the primary QA contact for projects or products and collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Business teams.
- Communicate QA status, risks, and recommendations while managing quality, delivery timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Support compliance, audits, documentation, process assessments, and quality-risk mitigation.
- Analyze testing trends and improve coverage, efficiency, and QA processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in testing and QA.
- At least 1 year of experience in a senior QA role.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of coding and SQL, with an understanding of web applications and multi-tiered product architecture.
- Ability to work across different time zones and understand CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong team-building, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Agile methodology, Jira and other Atlassian tools, AWS, and generative AI tools or AI-assisted testing.
