Responsibilities
- Own application monitoring, synthetic monitoring, smoke testing, incident management, on-call escalation, and Adobe vendor escalations.
- Manage CDN and edge configuration, DNS, certificates, caching, invalidation, and third-party integrations.
- Design and operate production change and release controls, including branch protection, required checks, rollback procedures, content publishing controls, change advisory board participation, and release notes.
- Own business continuity and disaster recovery for content sources, Git repositories, and CDN configuration, including RTO/RPO definition and recovery testing.
- Define service-level objectives and Core Web Vitals thresholds and build observability using real-user monitoring, CDN access logs, enterprise SIEM, and external synthetics.
- Maintain operational resilience evidence, platform exit and portability plans, and service-desk diagnostics for content publishing and authoring failures.
Requirements
- Experience owning reliability engineering for a public-facing platform in a regulated or otherwise controlled environment.
- Ability to manage incident response, on-call escalation, vendor coordination, change control, release pipelines, rollback, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with monitoring, synthetic testing, observability, CDN and edge configuration, DNS, certificates, caching, invalidation, and web performance.
- Ability to define and report on service-level objectives, Core Web Vitals, RTO, RPO, and recovery exercises.
- Ability to maintain audit evidence and operational controls for third-party technology arrangements.

- Base compensation is listed at 79,000 to 101,000 in the posted location.
