Responsibilities
- Participate in presales activities, discovery sessions, technical workshops, tenders, and RFI/RFP analysis.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation strategies.
- Design enterprise-level Java architectures for distributed systems and microservices platforms.
- Prepare technical proposals, estimations, architecture diagrams, delivery assumptions, and implementation roadmaps.
- Define technology stacks, infrastructure approaches, integrations, security principles, and team composition.
- Present and defend technical solutions during customer and stakeholder discussions.
- Support Sales and Delivery teams during presales and project initiation.
- Lead technical project start-up activities and convert high-level concepts into actionable implementation plans.
- Establish architecture standards, engineering guidelines, and development best practices.
- Guide engineering teams through initial delivery stages and support onboarding and technical interviews.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Mentor Senior and Lead Engineers while driving technical decisions across business, delivery, and quality considerations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong technical leadership responsibilities.
- Strong hands-on expertise in the Java ecosystem, including Spring and Spring Boot.
- Deep understanding of microservices and distributed systems architecture.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and event-driven systems.
- Practical experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of application security, monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
- Experience converting incomplete or ambiguous requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with presales, discovery phases, solution proposals, or tender processes.
- Strong estimation, solution design, customer-facing communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently drive technical initiatives and take ownership.
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
