Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on projects.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Define a multi-year technical roadmap for Child Safety systems.
- Oversee architecture for high-scale distributed systems, ensuring maintainability and capacity to evolve with changing abuse patterns.
- Advise leaders and cross-functional partners on technical capabilities related to regulatory requirements.
- Mentor engineering team members and drive technical architectures and roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience in large-scale software design, system architecture, and technical leadership.
- 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role guiding engineering teams and defining technical roadmaps.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
