Responsibilities
- Own enterprise integration platforms end-to-end, including architecture awareness, configuration, reliability, security, lifecycle management, and roadmap alignment.
- Monitor platform health, API traffic, message processing, errors, latency, throughput, connectivity, and availability commitments.
- Lead incident triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem management, change and release readiness, maintenance, upgrades, and post-deployment validation.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy interfaces, iFlows, APIs, and event-driven flows on SAP Integration Suite, WSO2 API Manager, Azure API Management, and Advanced Event Mesh.
- Lead the redesign, migration, re-testing, cutover, and hypercare of SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite.
- Design and administer API gateway policies, throttling, certificates, access controls, routing, identity integrations, queues, topics, subscriptions, and messaging flows.
- Manage platform security controls, environment configuration, user access, certificates, keys, tenant settings, vulnerability remediation, ITGC/SOX, audit requirements, and go-live standards.
- Build monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards using SAP monitoring tools and observability platforms; drive automation, CI/CD, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, participate in design reviews and technical decisions, mentor junior engineers, and maintain runbooks, playbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall IT experience in enterprise integration, middleware, API management, or integration platform engineering.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting integration interfaces and APIs in a high-availability enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite or SAP CPI and SAP PI/PO, including interface design, development, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of WSO2, Azure API Management, and Solace or Advanced Event Mesh.
- Experience with incident, problem, change, and release processes, performance tuning, and platform governance.
- Strong analytical, design, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Preferred experience includes migrating SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite or comparable cloud integration platforms.
- Preferred experience includes API modernization, microservices integration, Groovy or Java scripting, XSLT, message mapping, disaster recovery exercises, resiliency testing, and high-availability operations.
- Preferred exposure includes DevOps, SRE, ITIL, Agile, JIRA, Confluence, infrastructure-as-code, and automation frameworks.
- Preferred certifications include SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, Solace or Advanced Event Mesh, Azure, or WSO2/API Management certifications.
