Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex software solutions for cybersecurity applications.
- Oversee and mentor software developers by providing technical guidance and fostering continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers, security analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java code in accordance with coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Participate in the architecture and design of scalable and secure software systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and deliver timely fixes and updates.
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and integrate appropriate tools and techniques into development processes.
- Create technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of software development experience focused on cybersecurity solutions.
- Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring software development teams.
- Expertise in Java and microservices architecture.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of AI tools and agent integration.
- Hands-on experience with Git version control and GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with testing frameworks or libraries such as JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
- Understanding of Agile development environments, DevOps practices, and CI/CD development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, strategic-thinking, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Willingness to upskill in Laravel/PHP, infrastructure as code, SaaS environment concepts, and queue-based architecture.
