Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer end-to-end features from the user interface through backend code.
- Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot services, REST APIs, persistence components, and related integrations.
- Apply approved AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and unit/integration testing, while reviewing generated code for correctness, security, concurrency, dependencies, transactions, and performance.
- Integrate LLM APIs with structured outputs and retrieval-augmented generation, including authentication, timeouts, retries, observability, response-quality evaluation, latency and cost assessment, prompt-injection resistance, and sensitive-data handling.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, make team decisions, provide solutions across teams, and coordinate development activities toward project milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and support integration between frontend and backend services.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience with Java programming and related frameworks.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Hands-on use of approved coding assistants, including context-rich prompting, generated-code review, and automated test validation.
- Ability to integrate LLM APIs into Java/Spring Boot services and implement structured outputs and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies and integration with backend services.
- Knowledge of capital markets and investment management, including securities, trading, portfolio management, investment operations, and related financial-services processes.
- 15 years of full-time education.
