Base Salary
$225k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade agentic AI applications for front-office lending workflows.
- Build scalable Python-based AI services and APIs for enterprise deployment.
- Develop solutions using LLMs, RAG, MCP, Text-to-SQL architectures, agent orchestration frameworks, and multi-agent systems.
- Integrate AI solutions with internal data platforms, research systems, analytics tools, and lending applications.
- Partner with business leaders and front-office stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases.
- Establish best practices for AI evaluation, monitoring, governance, and responsible deployment.
- Participate in SPG and Firmwide AI Challenge Labs and contribute to Morgan Stanley’s broader AI strategy.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering and system design experience.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML applications leveraging LLMs.
- Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, knowledge retrieval systems, and prompt engineering.
- Experience developing agentic workflows and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, cloud-native development, and production deployment practices.
- Experience with MCP, tool-calling frameworks, and advanced agent architectures.
- Experience building Text-to-SQL, document intelligence, or knowledge management solutions.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Background in fixed income, structured products, lending, securitized products, broader financial markets, front-office businesses, or quantitative teams.

- Expected base pay is $225,000 - $250,000 annually at commencement of employment, with individualized determination and potential additional incentive compensation and benefits.
