Responsibilities
- Optimize Guidewire configuration and build reliable integrations using APIs and messaging frameworks.
- Deliver technical solutions aligned with business and architectural objectives across enterprise lines of business.
- Improve development and deployment processes through CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution engineers, architects, and Agile teams to deliver committed sprint and PI objectives.
- Participate in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, system demos, and retrospectives.
- Resolve complex technical issues and apply software architecture principles and design patterns.
Requirements
- More than 9 years of experience in a similar role.
- Must have Guidewire PolicyCenter 9.0.5 and 10 development experience and Gosu language experience.
- Must have advanced Java experience; advanced experience with web services, batch, and plugins is required, with 7+ years stated for each technical area.
- Advanced experience with J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Spring JPA, Spring Boot, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle, with 7+ years stated.
- Experience with PolicyCenter data model, Guidewire Rating Engine, PolicyCenter Product Model, and PolicyCenter integration using Gosu and PCF.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, influencing, problem-solving, prioritization, and software architecture skills.
- Data Architecture and Governance experience, PolicyCenter specialization certification, and Cloud PolicyCenter experience are pluses.
- Full English fluency and flexibility to overlap with the US Pacific Time zone for two hours.
