Responsibilities
- Develop, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications using Spring Boot and Java.
- Build APIs and backend services using Spring MVC, Spring Web, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
- Work with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases and develop SQL-based data access solutions.
- Use Maven or Gradle, Git, JUnit, and Mockito in application development and testing.
- Support scalable, high-performing, secure, and maintainable software designs.
- Collaborate across teams, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Potentially support cloud deployment, containerization, messaging, monitoring, infrastructure automation, and production support based on client requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and solid Core Java knowledge.
- Experience developing APIs with Spring MVC or Spring Web and using Spring Data JPA or Hibernate.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL and strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle, Git, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, presentation, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Cloud, Docker, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Kafka, JMS, Kubernetes, Terraform, monitoring, security, production support, and client-interaction experience are beneficial depending on client needs.
