Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery of Blockstream enterprise software from kickoff through production deployment and post-launch support.
- Build and ship integrations, tooling, services, configurations, deployment assets, and implementation playbooks.
- Configure, test, deploy, and optimize products in complex banking environments, including on-premise, network-isolated, and air-gapped environments.
- Integrate Blockstream products with core banking and capital-markets systems and troubleshoot technical, configuration, and integration issues.
- Lead implementation planning, UAT, production deployment, success criteria, milestones, enablement sessions, and post-go-live support.
- Support technical pre-sales, RFP/RFI and security questionnaire responses, SOW scoping, effort estimation, and scope-change management.
- Facilitate technical workshops and architecture discussions while serving as a trusted technical advisor to customer teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to convert implementation feedback into code, product improvements, and standardized delivery methods.
- Travel regularly to customer locations across Europe.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, professional services, technical consulting, implementation engineering, or enterprise software delivery.
- Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language, such as Python, Go, or Rust, sufficient to independently build and ship integrations, tooling, and services.
- Experience implementing and deploying enterprise software solutions in complex customer environments.
- Strong understanding of protocol intermediation, enterprise integration patterns, cloud technologies, security fundamentals, and modern software architectures.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers throughout implementation and deployment projects.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and troubleshoot complex challenges.
- Strong customer-facing communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, Enterprise Sales, and Consulting teams and manage multiple engagements independently.
- Willingness to travel regularly to customer locations across Europe.
- Excellent English skills; German and/or French are strongly preferred, and Italian is an advantage.
- Preferred experience includes financial institutions, Bitcoin, blockchain, digital assets, tokenization, fintech, APIs, modern integration frameworks, cloud platforms, containerized deployments, infrastructure automation, Layer-2 technologies, and digital asset infrastructure.
