Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and support highly available and scalable Java applications for the Enterprise Security Master platform.
  • Translate business requirements into secure, reliable software solutions in collaboration with product owners, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
  • Analyze and resolve production issues and perform root-cause analysis for complex technical challenges.
  • Apply unit testing, regression testing, test automation, monitoring, observability, release management, and deployment automation practices.
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs and contribute to AI-assisted and agentic software development practices.
  • Collaborate across teams, influence stakeholders, mentor team members, and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Java development, software engineering, or enterprise application support.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar technologies.
  • Experience designing, building, testing, and supporting software applications using modern engineering practices.
  • Working knowledge of distributed systems, scalable application architectures, and cloud-based design principles.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and understanding software quality, secure coding, application security, compliance, CI/CD, release management, and deployment automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Preferred: experience with financial services, securities, market data, enterprise data management, real-time data processing, data integration, or data pipelines.
  • Preferred: familiarity with agentic AI workflows, prompt engineering, custom instructions, AI-enabled automation, monitoring, observability, and operational support frameworks.
  • Preferred: mentoring experience, business-needs analysis, stakeholder influence, continuous learning, and Agile software development experience.
