Base Salary

$113k - $155k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and build robust backend solutions using Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Java, or TypeScript within a microservices architecture.
Establish high-quality development standards that support code maintainability and system reliability.
Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and software engineering teams on complex technical initiatives.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI and ArgoCD.
Optimize application performance using Postgres, AWS, and Kubernetes.
Translate customer needs into scalable SaaS solutions and contribute to generative AI and agentic engineering workflows.

At least 2 years of experience with software engineering fundamentals, including Test Driven Development and design concepts.
Proficiency in backend development using Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Java, or similar languages; Ruby on Rails experience is preferred.
Experience working with software, platforms, and infrastructure at scale, including environments with thousands of hosts and millions of users.
Experience building modern Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems in a large-scale environment.
Experience with testing, staging, deploying, and monitoring across the modern web development lifecycle.
Ability to balance immediate business needs with strategic technical initiatives and collaborate effectively on large team projects.
