Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and maintain scalable features and applications for real estate consumers and professionals.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders on search-related user stories, acceptance criteria, and program decisions.
- Design and operationalize search pipelines using advanced data architectures deployed on AWS.
- Build high-quality, reliable, reusable, and cloud-based backend solutions.
- Optimize developer tooling, automate service and infrastructure provisioning and deployment, and reduce development friction.
- Investigate and prototype technologies that support product and business innovation.
- Collaborate across Agile/Scrum teams and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of development experience building flexible and scalable backend systems.
- Experience building complex, robust, and highly scalable production applications.
- Experience with Node.js, Python, TypeScript, and Java.
- Elasticsearch experience is a bonus.
- Strong engineering and quality mindset and the ability to deliver customer value quickly with regular feedback.
